I love free stuff! I’ve gotten lots of freebies, but this one is quite possibly my favorite! CoastalContacts.com is giving away another 10,000 FREE pairs of glasses tomorrow at noon! My son just got his first pair of glasses in February, so I was super excited to see this giveaway a couple of weeks ago. He got his glasses yesterday, and we love them! These were supposed to be a backup pair, but he likes them better than the ones he got from the optometrist!

While I’m calling these glasses free, there is a cost. You do have to pay for any upgrades plus shipping and insurance. The frames and lenses are free (even designer frames!). The total cost for my son’s shipping was $14.86.  If you need bifocals, they cost extra. So do special coatings, lightweight lenses, and tinting.

Here’s what you need to do:

• Like CoastalContacts on facebook, then click the FREE Glasses tab on the left to get your code. (Ok, I’m cheating, but the code for tomorrow is FREEAPR7)
• You have to have your prescription information, including your PD (pupilary distance). You can get this info from the last place you bought glasses.
• Go to CoastalContacts.com and pick out your frames.  They have hundreds to choose from, so you should get right on that  Frames that say, “Coupons Don’t Apply” are not eligible for this promotion.
• Have everything loaded in your cart and ready to check out by about 11:45.
• Enter the code (FREEAPR7) and just keep hitting “Apply” until it works (sometime right before noon).
• The page will be super busy, but just keep trying. The last couple of times they’ve done this promotion, they’ve had freebies left up until 9:00 or so. But, if you have your heart set on certain frames, get them early or they will be gone.

This is such an awesome deal! Share with your friends and family, too!  But, if they have your exact prescription, they most likely won’t be able to get the freebie. This is only for people who haven’t participated before and if it looks a little like you’re trying to snag an extra, the order will most likely be cancelled.
